Your guide to trailboarding.

Start Small
Practice on a small hill. If you have snowboarded before, it will come naturally. If you are new to board sports, it will take some practice. Always put safety first. Remember, you can always hike back down!
Where to Ride
Backyards, sledding hills, state parks, nordic centers, and hiking trails. Anywhere with snow and change in elevation will work! Many ski resorts will allow trailboards as long as you wear the leash, but always check with the resort first.
Know Your Conditions
You can ride on mildly steep and flat trails if the snow is packed. If there's fresh powder, you will need a more aggressive slope to gain speed. Use caution on icy slopes or avoid, if possible.
